Up To 70 Percent Of Warcraft Players Quit Before Level 10 – Alliance Leveling Guide?

A few days ago Blizzard Entertainment, a.k.a. World of  Warcraft, released a startling fact. It says that 70% of its players quit in the first 10 levels. Alliance leveling guide anyone?

Ever since World of Warcraft initially launched over five years ago, it’s development team has become much more skilled at creating new and exciting content for the game. But, research shows that the majority of the trial players who play the game, only 30% of the trial players will get past level 10 and these are the ones are more likely to stick it out with the game for the long-term.

Regardless of the success rates of its players, its subscription level remains at about 11.5 million users worldwide. Its ability to maintain subscribers even at this level in a down economy can be attributed to quite a few number of factors.

The World of Warcraft development team continues to enhance the games fresh new content and provide additional replay ability for the veteran players as well.  Also by introducing this new expansion, Cataclysm, they
will be overhauling its early game experience for players. And slowly bringing up the content in the World of Warcraft to ensure that even new players experience the best work of the development team to ensure a higher
retention rate.

One of the most recent developments by Blizzard is continuing to introduce value added services for their players.  Such as giving them access to the in-game function of the auction house outside of the game.  They plan on giving World of Warcraft players a new mechanism to allow players to use the auction house remotely by using of course, the web and devices such as the iPhone.  As with anything else  though, there will be some services that will be free to use and some will be a premium.

As for the Chinese version they are still in a legal push and shove with two other competing boards.  Blizzard emphasizes that NetEase is still operating normally as it has been since it’s relaunch back in September and is continuing to show growth strength in that country as the game is just as popular as ever.

As with it’s continuing popularity here in the U.S., the game World of Warcraft continues to grow, especially after running several television commercials with many different well known actors.  If Blizzard continues to
deliver better and more creative stages to the game, it can not help but expand.

On a final note, if the new trial member players to World of Warcraft were to use a popular alliance leveling guide that features in-game mods to help them along the way, Blizzard might be able to retain more of it’s members.
